There’s a space somewhere between here and there, now and when, where once was whole, crevasses in the sole.

There are two worlds now.

Dawn is in the small hand that holds my finger tight as we rock across river stone. A bridge of cobbled souls arches a snowy stream. Adventure is in the surface exploded by pebbles thrown.

There is a space I have never left, for the moment it arrived I was wedded to it and my purpose immense. To nurture, care, and guide infinity from existence through This.

Then there is the space I no longer fit, pushed or slipping out. The button ripped from a whole, being here is an agony untold.

I move between these spaces with purpose nought forestalled.

And when it is Dawn, I arise.
